The Complete Experience

TAR Productions was invited to shoot with Samsung Mobile at the World Surf League’s event at Lower’s Trestles for the Hurley Pro. As some of you know, we’re big fans of Virtual Reality in general and surfing, and our thoughts on Samsung’s campaign for the World Surf League is great.

So when we got the call to shoot a secret project with Samsung Mobile over the course of 3 days during the Hurley Pro we were ecstatic.

Virtual Reality is really awesome. The experience is awesome, too. You actually feel the emotions of being somewhere or doing an activity, such as surfing- as we are in the pictures below.

Virtual Reality (or VR) technology has finally caught up to the experience. When it originally came to fruition in the 90s the technology was so lagging that it never caught on. Now, with a smart phone and a google set you can be well on your way to one of the best VR experiences available.

The shoot details with Samsung and the WSL are on lockdown, but we are able to share a few behind the scenes photos.
