2010 was another great year for us here at TAR Productions, by far the most exciting to date. We started out the new year with a large production for Monster Energy Drink, not only a sales and training video but a call to action for the entire Monster team, including external sales and distribution outlets. On A Rail: Europe went on display with Best Day Foundation to help raise money for children with needs. The screening in Ventura was a huge success combined with a packed house and a speech from Timothy Ryan, producer/director for On A Rail.
In June we did a series of branded videos for Adrenaline Movement shot on Super 8mm film. The branded commercials were a huge success for Adrenaline and helped the company get their product into large outlets and grow the brand. Immediately following the branded videos Adrenaline had an idea for a travel webseries with a brand ambassador Sean McGonigle, the Chronicles of McGonigle. The series has been enjoyed by many of their customers and has already signed up for Seasons 2 and 3. Orange21, makers of Spy Optic sunglasses asked us to edit together existing footage for a couple of marketing videos to build brand excitement regarding their turn-a-round marketing push in the rebounding economy. Rounding out the summer we did a commercial shoot for British Customs with Libre Design. Shot in the hills of Julian on a late summer day the scenery was beautiful and the motorcycles were roaring in the desert heat.
The fall was a busy production month here at TAR Productions. We traveled to Haiti with Helping Haitian Angeles, a non-profit organization with an orphanage on the north coast of the country. Helping Haitians Angeles is doing some amazing things in Haiti with plans to grow and expand their operation in Haiti greatly over the next 5 years. We had a great time producing a video for them to aid in fundraising and awareness efforts. After Haiti we created and produced a commercial for Creative Recreation, a shoe company located in Hollywood, CA, who’s products are popular among celebrities, athletes and the fashion conscious. The shoot was great and the feedback among the industry was amazing. Creative Rec loved the final piece and has seen huge success with it. Look for more collaborations with Creative Recreation and Tar Productions in 2011.
We’ve carried our momentum into 2011 and hope to keep the good times rolling. Thanks for the support and hope you enjoy.
